TREME on HBO. I don't know if there's ever been a show on TV that featured so many MUSICIANS as major characters. Professionals on trumpet, trombone, and Lucia Micarelli as a violin playing street musician. Great show .... anyone else watching this? And does anybody know when episodes for the next season start?

    This belongs in The Lounge!

It is a Television discussion, not a Trumpet discussion.

It's off-season right now. I can't seem to find out when it's coming back on. The music in the show is great ... and there's a lot of it. A lot of live scenes in clubs and second line marches.

It sounds like something I'd like to see. Maybe it will show up on Hulu or YouTube.

As for one o'them tellyovisions, ain't got one o'them son.

(Hmmm though, my neighbors get great reception off of a roof antenna, and I do have a place on the wall I could mount one of those flat ones.)

EDIT - I can find it referred to plenty of places but as for viewing it, impossible?

    Hey Alex,

My Dad recorded all the episodes on his DVR, so just come to Oregon .....:D

The show is well worth a look for the music especially. I'm not sure but they might release the 1st season on rentable discs but so far I haven't seen any. Lots of trumpets .....

Jimmy I bet it's great. If it shows up on discs for $1 at a garage sale, I may be able to afford it.
