triple tonguing

    As Chuck points out, TKT KTK TKT KTK isn't really "triple tonguing" but it can accomplish the same thing. It's how I do multiple instances of triple tonguing as well. I also will start out on a K if it lets me land on a T at the end.

    My wife can't do the TKT KTK thing very well, but she does the TTK TTK thing much better than I. Both work.

    My favorite triple tongue pattern is actually Dah-Dah-Gah... I use Arbans page 155 as a warm up... I single tongue in cut-time, then I triple tongue the same pattern (usually #1 & #5) then I go to just the Gah (or K) tongue... 2/3's of a triple tongue is single... so I try to work all sides as well as the combination.
