Thanks everyone for the pithy responses, Robin is such a kidd-er.
"Austria" sounds nice - might not people get it confused with Austria, that pile of granite and nice trees near Germany?
Yes yes, we wouldn't want people getting mixed up!
i recently purchased a cornet, because it is a yamaha i call it Hayakaze which is Japanese for "high velocity wind" or "swift wind"
I have A getzen Eterna severison model and its name is Ducky. Because I am a huge NCIS tv show fan and my trumpet is the smartest trumpet. like on the the show "ducky" is the smartest Forensic scientist/coroner.
So if you drop your Yamaha, you'll call it "koware-kaze", or "break wind"? ; )
Seems my Schilke always, about have way through my practice session, gets a 15 word name composed of a string of 4 and 5 letter explitives.... normally it is just Becca...
hahah nha i don't do that. I was told once a story that a magician was talking to his trumpet and the trumpet was responding back although everyone knew there was someone behind the curtains playing
nah that would be my nickname
