Some people nickname their trumpets, which is absolutely great.

I'm curious to see what nicknames many of you have given to your trumpets.

    Post like this:

Make and model of your trumpet and its "nickname" in quotes. And any other info as you wish.

    Bach Mercedes, "Silver Belle"

Ok, I am just not that creative. I just call them by their make and model... maybe because I am proud of their make or model... or back to my creativity thingy.

My younger daughter did make a comment when she heard me play my Committee for the first time stating: "Martin sounds sad."

Yes I used to call my different horns by names of several women who have been important for me, but I don't do it anymore, and I will not reveal these names herein: my wife doesn't know that...

I'm boring - I just call them by their models. I have a friend that names his guitars. I tried that, but the names didn't stick with me!
