trumpet question

    hey guys i hav a question to ask. is it normal for my cheeks to burn while i do long tones for long? it tht good? or bad thnx guys

    Yup. It stops when you practice a lot more.

    You mariachi trumpet players play for hours and hours. I would imagine that you would be using quite a few facial muscles. My cheeks have never hurt or burn though.

    i hav another question ... everytime i play high notes after a while i get like a cut inside my top lip. it doesnt bleed or anything ... its like a "crack" can tht damage my lip???

    yea we do but i just hope it doesnt damage my lips
