I asked once before here on Trumpet Master and I am again.

Looking for a Trumpet Teacher in the central San Diego County area.

The last teacher I had was allright when he was there. BUT, he seemed to interested in the clock and not running over 30 minutes. In fact, I didn't ever get the entire Half Hour worth. This was from a so called respected music store. I had 12 lessons and he canceled out 4 of them the day before my lesson. Actually the store called me. It seems he was to hung over to come in.

Also, I'm 60 years old. In excellent health and a serious student. Most of these stores cater to kids, and I'm wondering if my age throws them off.

Any suggestions on finding a teacher that Wants To Teach?

    Thank's Fellas,

    Charlie:dontknow:

    Charlie,

    I have a couple suggestions:
1.- Check out schools in your area, both High Schools and Colleges
2.- Check out the Trumpet Sections of any of your local Playing groups, Professional Groups and Community Groups.

I hope that you find someone.
