Trumpets can be much more than lamps!

    I know..... I will get an old snare drum and mount a clock in it, and send it to my good friend, a drummer.......

    I think you miss the point it is one of those new metronome mutes that modify the music to keep you in time when the drummer can't.

    No a Viola Ent is a uselss slightly large fiddle made from wood from Fangorn Forrest (Hope you know your Tolkien)

    Indeed - b ut you know, a trumpet would be a good weapon to keep the eggses off - and then counter-attack. Imagine a blade with a trumpet and a viola as weapons - would be a clear trumpet win!!

    You know, I once had a repeating clock mounted in a repeating rifle... made a nice wall hanger, but every rifleman who came said it was horrible... and then a clock collector once came and said the same... Whatever you do, it's wrong!

    The best ones are Swiss made, mounted in Alphorns: very accurate but so bulky…
