Tuning slide troubles

    That only works with instruments that are pre-tuned at the factory: Monette, Thein, Harrelson, etc.

    If the thick lube is not thick enough add some beeswax. Clean off the slide, rub with a beeswax block, then put thick lube on top. You can adjust the amount of beeswax to change how sticky you want it; beware that you can make it more sticky than intended if not careful.
