    Nice! Thanks for posting these. I listened to 3 of them before posting, will listen to a few more tonight. It's good that these guys made some recordings before they retired or passed away. Looking at the dates, I was surprised that Kryl was still living when I was a kid. I have a collection of reissued recordings of W.C. Handy, but the audio quality on most tracks is not as good as these.

    Too bad, there is not the long lost cylinder with Buddy Bolden's famous Blues in G ...

    You've got to hear the incredible pedal tones on Kryl's Carnival. Then the tonguing!! Number 13 on the list.

    Cousins with Herbert Clarke and Leo Zimmermann is no slouch either! They left the recordings as is. With a bit of cleanup with EQ and depopping, they could be truly remarkable.

    Thanks, I appreciated, nice to hear that, I understand now why jazz had been so hated after that, but I heard some crossover music...
