Uh what does it mean When your valves start to turn green?

    The valves on my bach strad are started to turn green i do not know what up with that sooo... Help?:dontknow:
    Also my valves are just sticking at random no matter how much i oil them so think that green stuff is the problem

    Which thread do you want people to respond in? You have asked this question in at least 3 places here.

    Give your horn a regular bath using some detergent (monthly or more frequently).

    It means you need to be cleaning your horn more often, especially the valves. Soapy water for disassemled horn and valves in a cup with the same, but not above the piece with the holes drilled in it. Also, use a soft brush inside valve casing and on valves (old soft toothbrush if you don't have a brush made for this).
