    Hi everyone,
I am new here, and I'm after some advice please.

I am currently looking at 2 cornets. I am currently playing a Blessing XL that I am borrowing from a friend. However, I have my eye on either a Besson New Standard (135970) or a B&H Regent. I'm not really sure what's what and am quite new to this type of stuff. I have recently taken up the cornet again after many years. I learnt as a child on my dads Olds long cornet. He is very mean (only kidding), but wont let me have it, (to be fair - he plays it, so what can I expect). So i want to buy my own, and fancy one of these 2 from a uk auction site. Help - which one would be best??!! Both are about the same price at the moment, with postage about £40 quid, although that will go up I'm sure.

Anyway, any help or advice, asap, would be great.

    Nik xx

They are not all that different. Buy the one in the best condition.

The B&H has a valve overhaul, and has been idle, so I'd go for it.
