I've been working with my new Silent Brass SB7-9 today. The echo setting has nothing but unbearable noice. It sounds like I'm standing next the the loudest 18wheeler truck on earth. Am I doing something wrong here? It works great when on the no echo setting.

The only thing I can think of other than the unit maybe being bad is checking your all cables and making sure you are connecting them properly. The other thing to note is that with the SB7-9 I don't believe the amount of echo (also know as reverb) can be adjusted on that model. I personally use the ST7 personal studio model, and there is dial where you can adjust the amount of echo.

I have two of those devices. With one, the echo is terrible, I don't use it. With the other one, it's just fine ! :dontknow:
