Releasing the seal doesn't seem like a good idea:noway:, but it seems like I can improve my dynamics and attack, especially in the high range, by letting a little air escape before I hit the note, and then varying the amount that is escaping to vary the dynamics. Has anyone else done this, other than a basic trick?:dontknow:

I think you are just fooling yourself. Good luck.

Dynamics and attacks are based on quality practice not farts before playing.

Anything not based on quality will FAIL when the going gets tough. I will NEVER replace anything musical with a fart.
