Well, is it worth getting a rotary trumpet with vienna key?
Or just a rotary trumpet without one would be fine?

To key or not to key, that is the question...

I've had a Vienna key for C on my Ganter ever since I've had it, and so far, I've never used it.

I think that the vienna key is A=465........

Seriously, the key has a primary use case: Richard Strauss (Also sprach Zarathustra, Bürger als Edelmann). It could be used for Strawinski Pulcinella( but I think Strawinski had a piston sound in his head) and maybe some Mahler Symphonies too. If you aren't playing any of this, then it is not a problem with or without.

"Geht aber auch ohne wenn der Musiker kann." Stole that off a German forum.

True enough. It's usually the wannabes that have them.

I believe it was Ernst Sasche who said something like, "German trumpeters are fearless up to high Eb."

Breh, buy the next rotary you can, play it, then realise you're not missing that much with your piston models.
I'm sorry if it seems like we're ganging up on you, but you seem to be looking for a unicorn.

    (Hint: unicorns don't exist.)

They told me I was delusional once, and I laughed so hard I almost fell off my unicorn!

It's not that unicorns don't exist; they can only be found using true virgins, and it's these that are hard to find!

A professor of medicine at Edinburgh University once claimed that he could push a wheelbarrow containing all the adult virgins of Edinburgh up the slopes of Arthur's Seat...
