There is a guy who's selling a vintage Dom. Calicchio; satin-gold plated; model 2/9, serialnumber: 31xx. Larry, do you know what kind of horn this is (year; specifications)?

    GH,

If you check out this thread in this section named " Larry-have you heard about this one "

    http://www.trumpetmaster.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=931

and read my answer, you'll see that there are no Calicchio's with a serial number from 3100 - 3999. Also the number 3099 dates the trumpet at 1983 which is 3 years past Dominick's death. When I see a " Vintage Calicchio " for sale, I figure that means it a Dominick.

Maybe you can get a picture or url for all of us to look at.

A 2/9 is an excellent combination thou. You should really be able to have a big, wide sound with that one.

If you would like to PM me about it , go ahead, but I like a real name on a PM - that's why it's called a " Personal Message "
