    Vivaldi- Gloria.
What key trumpet is traditionally used for this piece. Pic or C?

    Thanks!

It works well on Piccolo trumpet in A for me.

I've performed it on D trumpet, but picc in A makes more sense I think.

Piccolo in G is even easier.

It is written in concert D. For a fairly decent player it can be played on a standard Bb, C, D, G, high A, high Bb picc or a natural trumpet.

Most players do not have a G picc kicking around so they use the high A instead. The horn is actually insignificant. Your playing will make it successful. A cooperative relationship with the oboe player is VERY beneficial!
