I find with my Getzen 900 Eterna it is very important to keep the lead pipe and tuning slide clean. That seems to affect the amatis more than you think when it's not clean. You can do it without taking it apart, provided it hasn't gotten too bad. I use dishwashing soap and very warm water and soak it, then work it in and out with a little more soap. One thing too, I put a spot of valve oil on it and work it that way every so often. Seems to keep it nice and free of obstructions.

He made you, too, Doc. He made you. And that's a good thing.
