Water on the main tunning slide

    Hetmans #8 is the thickest grease Hetmans now sells. #9 is absolutely awesome at sealing loose slides but is too thick for a tuning slide and is no longer available. I know because I tried it. It, #9, is hard to remove also!

    I thought I had some #9, but it's actually 7P, a thick gel. It too is indeed sticky stuff, and hard to get off anything it gets on, such as fingers.

    #9 is stringy and sticky. But for a vibrating 2nd slide, it cannot be beat for a fix.

    Are you renting the Jupiter? Return it if you are and get a different brand of trumpet. Jupiter has low quality trumpet. Only their cases are amazing.
