    Hi "Drunk,"

I personally think Peter Schickele (aka P.D.Q. Bach) is an interesting composer/performer but . . . why does he rate having his own forum in the horns section?

    Just kiddin' . . . Welcome aboard!

    Warmest regards,

    Tom

    Yee HAW!
I dunno, Tom. I've got one of PDQ's CDs. Nice, but it'll never sell in Vienna. :D

schilke shop in New York City

:? Going to NYC in February and I want to buy a D/Eflat Schilke trumpet. I have been looking in the net for shops in NYC but havent been able to find them.
Does anyone know a good retail shop in NYC where I can buy Schilke D/E flat.
I prefer a big shop with some options.

It is great you are moderating the site. Schilke deserves a section of the TM pie and I , along with others, appreciate your enthusiasm in obtaining the position and the commitment to the task of moderating it.

You would have been my #1 choice for the it, bar none.

Roll up your sleeves, sharpen your keyboard and mouse , becasue here come the Schilke masses

    Larry

I personally don't know of any. Sam Ash has one of the biggest selections of horns, but as of last month, they weren't carrying any Schilkes. Rayburn's in Boston has a very nice selection, however.

You will be pretty close to Dillon Music - there a tad over 30 minutes from Manhattan and well worth the small trip by car or train... They keep a pretty large inventory of Schilke horns. You can either give them a call at 732-634-3399 or email one of them to make sure they have it for your trip...
