That was fun. Who got the holy grail?
I guess I'm not sure what you are referring to - what's the "holy grail?"
I believe Mendez is talking about the Olds Super Recording on Ebay?
Oh. Since when is that a holy grail?
F.E. Olds Recording Model trumpet Fullerton, Calif. Bent Bell RARE w/bach Mp
This is the best example of one of these, very early, no engraving on bell, only on tone ring. dual lead pipe, the Clifford Brown Bach MP is a bonus.
Awe Patrick, that hurts!
Mendez, I did end up getting that SR. Kinda weird that the seller listed as Olds Recording - Fullerton. Even before he posted the serial number, that did not jive.
I AM SO EXCITED!
Good eye. I wondered for awhile who saw it, till the last hour. I think that bell will be OK, will you send it to Charlie?
This one is in the same serial number vicinity....
I thought the Martin Committee #3 was the Holy Grail.
Nice find, it is purty!
Yup, won't be here for long. Heading for the Charlie Melk treatment.
Mendez, is that one of your horns?
