    My Funny Valentine by me.
    I do a slow killer version and on the second chorus, I play a slow improv version of the I Love Lucy theme and it fits MFV like a glove.

    AlexC, Summertime is not exactly an old standard, or I guess perhaps it is, I'm not sure what that exactly means. It is is originally an aria composed by George Gershwin for his opera "Porgy and Bess." Miles Davis with Gil Evans has a pretty good rendition, but there are countless others.
