I searched but couldn't find what brand she uses. Does anybody know?
I think she use both Bach (C) and Schilke!!
Most often she appears with her Bach C with a Malone leadpipe a la Hardenberger
But I believe that when using higher trumpets she uses a Schilke

as mentioned above and Scherzer rotary piccolo.
YouTube - Alison Balsom - Bach works for Trumpet
HE??? OMG, a pretty feminin guy...!!
oups ...my typing....sorry Alison
yeah, what they said
she has to be the best looking trumpet player ive seen in a while she can teach me how to play!
I think her brand is Maybelline. Her success is based on her superior pucker and smile, not the hardware!
In any case, she sounds MUCH better live than on the CDs. EMI does not do her justice! I don't care how far away the concert is, it is worth it. Just do it!
By the way, the picc I saw on stage was a rotary Scherzer. When she started to play, I didn't care. All I heard was Alison, no trace of Scherzer or mouthpiece brand!
I did watch her breath support very closely though.........................
