Well, money is expensive. I don't think he's being controversial. He's just inexperienced in many areas.

money isn't expensive...things you buy with money are expensive...trumpets are expensive...thats why we told him not to waste his money on a crap one

back to the thread, most good stuff has already been said...trumpets are different due to the amount of time taken to assemble them and the quality of materials used...different mouthpiece tapers/bell flares affect the sound and blow...brace placement, weights of materials etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc....

ROFL i dont know if i am going to be a trumpeter. I bought a cheap one FOR NOW. It was either a $140 so i can learn on it and have an idea of what the trumpet is all about. Or spend $700 on "better" trumpet. What if i bought it and i didnt want to do the trumpet anymore? that would be a waste of money no wouldnt it. You dont need to worry abotu my trumpet. Your not playing it so you dont need to care. Im playing it and im happy with it. The negative tings you say dont effect me because i know eventually when im ready ill get a better trumpet.

Anyway way Zlatko my teacher gave me some daily routine. But yer i just go through some like basic scales and thats okay.

    Just curious.....

Zlatko says he is from Ajax Ontario and you say you're from Australia.

Do you commute or take your lessons on-line?

    Say what?

You claim to be from Australia, and Zlatko says he is from Ajax, Ontario, Canada, which is neat Toronto.

If he is your teacher, you either commute to Canada or take lessons on line.
