What should i pay for this?

    Hey guys, the owner asked me to sell their trumpet and i have no idea whats it worth etc. Haven't been keeping up with current market.

    Its an Olds Ambassador SN A08407

    This question comes up every now and then.

    I agree with Dennis78, that $100-$200 is a typical price for an Olds Ambassador in good condition. Maybe closer to $200, if it's sold by a dealer who is providing some added value. Maybe closer to $100, if it's being sold by an individual.

    One way to gauge the market is to search for completed sales on eBay.

    FWIW, I purchased my 1957 Olds Ambassador Trumpet ins 2012 for good condition for $80, and my 1957 Olds Ambassador Cornet with original case in excellent condition in 2014 for $70.
