I went the www.theoldsregister.com yesterday and today and the site it completely offline. :-o

Anybody have the skinny on what's going on there?

I LOVE using that site as a reference. I would HATE to see it vanish from the internet.

Guy that was running it had to quit, he offered several Olds nuts to please take it over, it's Windows based so none of the crazy Olds guys had the computer chops for it. He would love for someone to breathe life back into it, not much $$ or time from what I understand. Anybody interested get hold of me, I'll put you in touch...

    hmmm now I'm intrigued

Been awhile since I was there... I pretty much only used the Olds Database for reference.

ANA, do you recall what else made up the site? Or was the site strictly the database itself?

It was mostly a database, I can put you in touch with the guy who started and maintained it. I would (as would many I assume) love to see it back up....

And Mr. Osren, should you do this, I will write a tribute classical ditty in your honor and call it: "The Bow Movement"

Would love to do it, and have the time for it - unfortunately I have no knowledge of Olds whatsoever... not quite qualified for the job, sorry.
