Number 3 & 7 (watermelon colored cover) or 12 (blue & tan). I grew up on the blue and tan but bought the watermelon one when I couldn't find the old one. All the rest are posers!

Any of the complete editions, Amazon catalogue page 6, Platinum edition. Leduc edition in 3 volumes. Mine is the Boosey and Hawkes printing of the original, enough to keep me going for the rest of my life.

    Regards, Stuart.

I have the 2nd one. Whichever one you end up with, get it spiral bound as soon as possible. This will prolong your life and preserve your sanity.

I expect to be frustrated by the trumpet at times, but I'll brook no foolishness from my method books.

Mine is like the red, black, and gold one, annotated by Claude Gordon.
(Cost me all of $2 in a thrift shop. I think that price was better for me than the store)

I was going to call attention to this one, also, but I didn't know what it looked like. It's my understanding that there are misunderstandings about how to play some of the exercises and that Gordon clarified that. (Also that he got some of his ideas directly from Herbert Clarke.)

Looking at the pictures a bit closer, the third one on amazon is the version we're talking about.
