Yeah, I saw it when the alumni played at the World Championships in Rochester.
My band sells programs every year for a fundraiser.

3 valve trumpets in Bb, or 3 valve bugles in G?

    Just curious. I recently joined a d&bc. I'm 62*. Bet I get a workout!

3 valves in G if I remember correctly, it's been a few years though since I've put any thought into that

They are in Bb now. Some DCA corps may still use G's, but DCI started allowing Bb horns earlier this decade.

Here's a better question.......Which College marching band has the best horn line? IMO Ohio State and Michigan State are the top 2.

MSU of course! Go Green. Watch the U tube vids and you will see and hear.
MSU 64, Alumni Marching and Concert bands for MANY years.

Besides, I can see the moths coming out of those old OSU uniforms, which look to be the same worn for the last 50 yrs or so. Gotta be a distraction!ROFL

I'm a Cadets fan... always have been.... but I think best trumpet (bugle.... whatever) line has to go to the Blue Devils.... of course it helps that the start training their "A" squad members at the age of 9 (and lower) in their "B" and "C" squads... ;)
