Whistling goes...difficult

    I use little pressure when i play, my lips are rarely swollen, cause sometimes I push myself to play that part of the etude well, but in general I just tried whistling Fire Dance and it works fine for me :p and actually, like tedh1951, whistling in tune has improved :D

    Danger, Danger: Mixing of metaphors! Perhaps you have experienced an unheard of improvement in your whistling. Or only the dogs can hear you now?

    That is what happens to me. Now when I whistle I think I am not producing a sound, until the neighborhood canines come a-running!

    how can you produce ultrasound waves with your mouth? :D:D that s like..many many many many octaves above the staff :D

    I feel your pain - why is it when a community band plays one of those songs where you have to whistle a chorus they always put it at the end of a concert where your whistling chops won't work. it's been a few years since I've had to do that but always hated whistling when playing a concert.
