What famous trumpets have you seen live?

I've seen a trumpet by the name of David Wells and Chris Botti

Chris Botti's a monster, had no expectations going to the concert(I just saw him three days ago) and I loved him, he's easily in my top five for trumpet heros now

I chased Maynard through Lousiana and Texas one summer (1993), saw him 6 times in three weeks.

I've seen a lot of players live, but very saddened to have missed Al Hirt and Rafael Mendez.

Ted Curson (with Charles Mingus), Lee Morgan (with Art Blakey), Wynton Marsalis, Cootie Williams, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Don Cherry, Mongezi Feza, Hugh Masekela, Lester Bowie, are the first names to jump to my mind... and my heart. But I know there are many others !

My dad got tickets for us to see Al Hirt. I wish there were more.
