    I'd recommend you look at Rich Willey's great book called "Scale Force". He does each scale in dozens of different patterns and intervals. Plus the whole tone, minor, half-whole dim, and whole-half diminished. He covers triads and dominant 7th arpeggios in 4 different patterns. Great stuff.

    Also, Dan Haerle has a classic book that covers all the scale modes (dorian, lydian, etc..) called "Scales for Jazz Improvisation"

    After you have combined the Haerle modes with all the Willey scales & patterns then you never fear a key signature...
