Who's in charge? The student - or the teacher?

    You and your son should get some counseling together to work to overcome the effects of your pushing him. Perfection is a mythological state; what we seek is progress.

    Hey, that's what parents are for! ;-) All any parent can do is the best they know to do. Perfection is not attainable, just being the best you can be.

    I thought about it once and told him a few years back he has the tools. Just use them, he is a good kid just does some stuff. I think its poor judgement myself. Im not on his back this day and age. Now he just cracks me up when he does stupid stuff.
