Hey, the contest ended too quickly. It takes a while to count them all, much less keep them polished and lubed. My total comes in at 69 when only brass instruments are counted. After all, woodwinds don't count.

Yeah, and I had to wait until my wife was out of town because I have never had them all out at once when she was around. She thinks that I only have about 28. I made the mistake of mentioning that there was a contest and she would not leave my side for 3 days. She was just sure that I would start rummaging around and counting them and then she could really find out how many there are. But, I just calmly waited her out (unless you count the cameras that she hid in seveal key locations around the house).

Due to the complaints about the contest lasting
too shortly, latecomers have now been added.
Since those who have come late do not deserve
the same status as those participating in time,
the ones in time will gain the status

So, what is my prize for winning, with the most instruments?

For those who have been paying close attention, I did sell one of my trumpets, but, I have bought a replacement. I hope that it is a viable replacement.

So, the count remains the same, but, it might change in a few days. I bid too much on an Evette Schaffer trumpet that has a few more days to go on a silent auction. Time will tell.

Wait a minute!! Why are you different? My contract with TM specifically states that I am required to read all posts every day, respond to at least 2 per day, respond to all PM's within 1 hour, and read to the kids at the orphanage twice a week. Come on! You can step up your pace. After all, you are a trumpet player which means you are now officially Supergirl as well as Flugelgirl.
