This is a Pro Level horn. It is a very awesome playing horn. This horn was the personal choice of Arturo Sandoval! So why Am I selling it? Because I am only an intermediate talent and this is too much horn for me. It has been very very well taken care of. I see two negatives on this horn. First the obvious one.some of the black onyx color has started to wear revealing the brass underneath. This negative actually looks pretty cool but that's more of a personal opinion. The second is a small ding on the second valve slide.
The positives are many. This is a free blowing horn with smooth valves. It has been meticulously cared for and will be a great trumpet for an aspiring jazz artist. Not only that this will be the horn that stands out among all others. Just looks at the design. It is solid through and through. In addition the case has never been used. So it is in pristine condition.

    Hi Loskers,
I just checked ebay, and you don't offer International shipping. That's OK.

Good luck, it looks like a nice horn.
    Cheers

Hi, I'm new to this site and I just came to find out info on a horn that was given to me that I want to sell. It says pan american on it with a serial number that says 218070 i am trying to search that down and can't find a serial number like that. I know that the horn is over 55 years old as it was in our family. Can anyone help me on this thread?

    Hi smack,
If you go to the HORNS Section and post there you will get more response.

In my opinion without any pics, the Pan American was a Peashooter style, (long and thin) and these were produced around 20's - 40s and used in Big Bands. There were made when materials were in short supply by Conn and other manufacturers, and a lot of stencil horns were produced. They are generally good players, and a good talking point, still relatively common, and not worth a real lot of money; Usually $100-250 depending on wear, condition and case. But sentimentally worth a lot - if you know what I mean. I'd keep it in the family with a Family Tree for the next generation and a note on the player. Sentimental as I am.

    Hi smack,
    Sorry more specifically - Equipment/Horns/Vintage Trumpet-Cornets.

Of Course you could buy this Beatiful Onxy Phaeton on sale here, just check the link above to Ebay...does it not look cool. A bargain price too in my opinion.
