    Hi All,

Considering buying a gig bag from WWBW (as they offer good prices even with shipping and import duty), but I wonder if anyone has ordered there. I see some negative reviews floating around; have they been good recently as the reviews were older? Any issue ordering to the UK?

    Thanks again
    Mike

I have ordered from them quit a few times with no problems at all. Iv'e even exchanged items and they paid for the shipping. I live in the U.S. so I dont know how it is to order from them out of the country. I have heard of some people who have expeirenced problems with them tho... but as I said before, I personally have not.

My brother, a clarinetist, buys reeds from them all the time. I've also ordered some stuff from them and everything's been very good. I would really recommend them.

I have bought a lot of stuff from them. Gig bags, horns, and mouthpieces. Never had a problem.

I use WWBW regularly, along with their sister sites (Music123, MusiciansFriend, GuitarCenter). They have good prices, a great return policy, and a price-match guarantee.

I wasn't going to answer because I assumed that you would get
    a wide range of answers,
but since the only people answering are taking the side of WWBW being good,
I guess I need to speak up.

I have bought maybe 4 things from them in the last couple of years.
3 of the purchases went OK.

But with the 4th purchase they sent the wrong mouthpiece.
    I complained.
They again sent the same wrong mouthpiece.
    I complained.
They again sent the same wrong mouthpiece.
    I complained.
They said the correct mouthpiece was on back order for a week which turned into a month.
    I complained.
4 tries and they still didn't get me the right mouthpiece so I cancelled the order.

When the invoice in the package says "Bach 5V",
but every time they enclose in the package a factory sealed "Bach 7C" in a Bach box clearly labelled "Bach 7C",
and they do the exact same mistake 3 times,
    that is just bizarre.

Many people have complained about having such horrible experiences with WWBW.

When WWBW is good, it is good.
When WWBW is bad, it is horrible.
And you never know which WWBW, the good one or the bad one, is going
    fill your next order.

Um... While that's true... Given the sheer amount of positive feedback... and my personal experience (myself, friends, school) I would definitely recommend WWBW...

I have sent students and fellow trumpet players there for the past 25 years and have never heard a complaint.

I forgot to mention the time that they double-billed my credit card.
I called them to complain that they charged me twice for one mouthpiece.
They credited my account within a couple of days.
All of my experiences with WWBW, including the ones mentioned in my previous post, have been in 2009-2010.

See the thread "OK, this is getting ridiculous"
about WWBW from a couple of years ago
where several people had problems with the "new" WWBW...

The real point should be that there is no good reason to deal with WWBW,
    where reliability is very variable,
when fantastic companies like Dillon Music offer such great, reliable Internet service with such great prices.

I bought a sousaphone case from them that I was charged twice for.
    It never came.
I got my money back like 6 months later after no replies about whether the case would ship.
