Not really... It is quit doable. So as Nike says... just do it.
When I took lessons with Claudio Roditi while I lived in New York City... this was my weekly lesson material... to transcribe all my lesson from solos (I mostly chose sax improvisational solos) after which, Claudio had me play the original transcriptions in EVERY key. He said this would increase MY music vocabularly. He was right. It also helped me hone my transcription chops. Within a month, transcriping tunes was almost as easy as taking down lecture notes. Give it a try and stick with it... and it is quit doable.
I'm sure it is doable, but maybe a bit to hard for a 1.5 year student player lol
