Wynton on a New Horn?!?!

    So I'm reading the May issue of DB and there is an article on the inauguration (the Beat, pg. 13) and how it was celebrated with Jazz. There is a pic of Wynton shaking hands with President Obama. Wynton is holding a .... dare I say it... a "conventional horn":-o:-o;-).

    This is probably hearsay, but I remember him having chop problems a year or so ago.... has he gone so far as to quite playing Monette equipment? I'm not trying to START a rumor.... just asking if anyone has any clarification on the subject.:dontknow:

    Who would he trust with his precious baby? the Monette factory or does he have his own local tech?

    If you own a Monette, you send it to the Monette shop for repairs. Then there is no chance of messing up or voiding any warranties.
