I'm not so sure this is even of lamp quality material.

It may be of value for somebody wanting to pull a horrible, horrible prank on a trumpet player by swapping out the horns....

Please...show some respect for this old warhorse. If it could talk, what life would it talk about. No instrument deserves to be a lamp, just as no blowfish deserves to be a nightlight. If it were mine I would make a wallhanger out of it, but keep it original, just as it is. Just looking at it gets me wondering about where its been. Best wishes.

How does something get that destroyed? Seriously, a missing valve. Not to mention all the other abuse. I would love to hear how it sounds.

Im sure the true story is not so glamourous, but the imagined one, for me, involves military experience in a couple of world wars, on opposite sides, and a killer jazz gig in the far east. Whats your imagined story for this horn? Best wishes.
