Hard for me to say but I'd go for Stardust today.

What do you all like for tunes?

    Best,

After hearing Tom Harrell play it on "Live at the Village Vanguard", I would have to say, "Everything Happens to Me."

Just a little observation, most-if not all (I can't remember 20 seconds ago)--of the tunes mentioned here are or can be ballads.... Hmmmm... Sax players would probably be like, "Giant Steps" or some Parker tune. Dumb-a-s-ses...

P.S. Also Body and Soul for my #2 pick.

I think that my favorite big band cut of all time is "Time for a Change" by the Stan Kenton Orchestra. That tune rocks in my opinion.
