Nice fresh new look! The difference between the old Trumpet Master and the new is kind of like the difference between Windows 98 and XP

Looks awesome. But am I the only one who has IE 6 keep crashing when I try to read a thread? Firefox and Netscape work great!

I am also having problems with crashing...only on this site since the change.
No other internet problems.

It's gotta be the way you hold your tongue... I use IE 6.0 and it's "stable as houses" on the new site.

Hey folks,

Sorry to hear that some of your are seeing crashes in IE. I am working on the problem, but I may not have a solution for a little while. In the meantime the best suggestion I can offer to you is to either update your IE to the latest version (may or may not fix the problem depending on your setup), or better yet try using a different browser:

Two browsers I recommend are Opera (www.opera.com) or Firefox (www.firefox.com). These two browsers are both free and easy to install, and are generally much more stable than IE. They also offer many more features than IE and correctly implement the World Wide Web consortium standards (IE does not), which means pages tend to look better in them.

I have only had crashes when trying to look at certain posts or threads. It is only on a few of them, but is consistent. It seems as though a banner trying to load freezes everything and I have to reboot every time. Other than that, no problems here.

Up until this morning, the new site came onto my monitor "full width". Today I am getting about a 70% width with two of 1" wide bars down each side. Looks a lot like another trumpet site. What happened?

I just made a change the might alleviate this problem, at least for the short term. If you all could help me out and let me know whether you are still seeing the crashes using IE that would be helpful.

Thanks,
Chris
