| Mezzo Forte User | Re: 2nd Anniversary of Maynard's passing Thanks for the info. I think that is the result most of us wanted. Maybe someday the collection will be on-line in some fashion. I don't know if Kenton's is.

![]() | Re: 2nd Anniversary of Maynard's passing In 2003, Maynard and his band played a couple of amazing concerts here in New Zealand. It wasn't the first time I'd seen him, but I still went to both nights. Wow!!! I was playing 2nd on a cruise-ship when I heard the news of his passing. Lets just say that a few tears were shed and a few more bottles than usual were emptied that night in the crew-bar. Play on boss, play on >-iii- |

| Pianissimo User | Re: 2nd Anniversary of Maynard's passing I was in complete shock when I heard that Maynard passed two years ago. Here was a man that I almost idolized. And just like that, he was gone. His music inspires me even more now that he has passed. I still get goosebumps whenever I hear him play. I still miss you Boss. Hope your tearing it up in heaven with Gabriel. R.I.P. Walter Maynard Ferguson (1928-2006)
