![]() | Announcing Two Graduate Assistantships at Penn State Announcing Two Graduate Assistantships in Trumpet at Penn State University The Pennsylvania State University School of Music announces Two Graduate Trumpet Assistantship vacancies for the academic years, 2007-2008 and 2008-2009. The Assistantships include full tuition waiver (in-state and out of state tuition), and a yearly stipend of $6000. Duties include instructing some non-major trumpet lessons and teaching the Trumpet Methods Class to undergraduate music education majors. In addition to the teaching duties, both Graduate Teaching Assistants perform in the Graduate Brass Quintet, which includes TA's from the other brass studios. The two Graduate Teaching Assistants also split duties as Second Trumpet with the Pennsylvania Brassworks, the Penn State Faculty Brass Quintet.
