Oh yeah. Definitely a yes. And I am old. I admit it.

And I guess while I'm writing this post, I ought to express my utmost admiration for jazz musicians. I don't think there is anything harder in music than obtaining the command of all the possible scales and chords available and then being able to instantaneously create music from that knowledge base coupled with the feelings stemming from the depths of one's own musical soul. I can't do it, and I salute those who can.
