Doc On TV - CBS

Yup, I video taped the performance on Letterman too ... & I too heard the same thing about it being a Gold Plated Kanstul (copy of the old Besson) he had. It also looked like Stork flug Mpc.

Regarding Doc on Hee - Haw .... some place kicking around here I have a cassette recorded from tv ... Doc playing "Dueling Banjo's" woth Roy Clark. Roy played guitar, Doc with an incredible technical display!

Sorry to change the topic, but I loved the old "Hee Haw" shows. Some incredible pickin' and grinnin' by Roy and Buck, grewat skits, great scenery (Hee Haw Honeys), and some great gospel music by the Hee Haw Gospel Quartet.

It sure is better than the crap on network TV these days.........

A million thanks for that, Bernadette. I'd seen previous messages about the existence of this clip but was never able to find it within the main website. VERY tasty playing all around.
