![]() | I'll have to listen to the players you mentioned to see if I can spot when they use double tounging. I'm just starting to work seriously on double/triple tounging. I meet infequently with a teacher, but I'll bring this up at the next lesson. I hope you and others on TM will share your experience (difficulties, favorite exercises, length of time it took to learn) and wisdom about mastering this technique.............thanks |

![]() | Clifford had a really fast single tongue. Clark Terry has the best triple tonguing I've heard from a jazz player, along with the doodle tongue.
