Without the trumpet sing, da-ga, da-ga, da(rest) Repeat the same pattern up the scale of your choice.
You have started on your way to a fast double tongue
For triple tonguing add a da.....da-da-ga, da-da-ga, da(rest)
I practiced a lot of double/triple tonguing without the horn. It works.

Of course, at some point you are going to have to sync the lips,tongue and air.
You have a good start with it this way.

Great advice Wilmer; it's almost identical to what I was going to post but you covered it well.

da da ga was the way to go for me as my nickname in school was "hammer tongue"
