I actually apparently did the Valsalva once while bike riding, I had this beach cruiser I used to blow by people on skinny bikes up hills on, I was REALLY in shape. I decided to try riding home along the beach on the sand where it was hard, and tried sprinting across the soft sand, and suddenly felt faint, it scared the, woops, I mean teh, shit out of me. That's apparently what this kid did, playing high notes, probably self-conscious so he's not breathing enough, and woops pass out. And hell yeah save the trumpet first, it doesn't have a soft butt to land on lol.
