Eclipsehornplayer is on a distinguished road
Thanks Mike I'm grateful for your post!

As you may know Alex is my teacher so I am anxious to receive news on how her trip is coming along.

I can't wait until she returns! I have a lesson scheduled with her next week and am anxious to get the chance to fire up an Eclipse Bb!

All the best,
John

Trent - I have some pics, but I am going to wait until Alex gets back tomorrow - hers are much better.

Last night saw us both head out to see Noel in The Producers - an excellent evening out and Mr Langley was on top form (and held over each last note quite superbly ).

Alex knows we have been talking about her, but I haven't told her what we have been saying - so there is still a chance for you all to delete the nasty stuff

Hey Alex

Whilst you're at Eclipse could you do me a huge favour and ask if Leigh has sent the instruments to HK yet? HKPO is really looking forward to trying those horns!
Thanks in advance, I owe you!

Jon

Yes Jon, they are definitely on the way. I saw those beauties when I walked into the factory. They were tenderly wrapped up and sent off to HKPO. I don't know how long it takes from the UK to HK, but surely they will be showing up in due time. The players are going to have a field day with them.

Cheers! (new habit....hmmmmm......wonder why?)

Sure did! I had Curry 5 out of 7 days. It was deeeeeeeelicious!

I can't wait to tell you guys all about the trip, but I need one more day of sleep. I am completely useless in the writing department today. LOL. (but I did play all of my horns.....hee, hee) I will say that it was an incredible journey spent with wonderful people and musicians. Finally meeting Noel was a highlight for me. (Keep it "G"!) Everyone was wonderfully warm and friendly. Mike, you were sweet to wait for my return before the story-telling begins. It was great to see you again and your students were a joy. I enjoyed playing quintets with all of you. Such fun! BTW, I already have two "pink" pics for you and will be posting them soon. I won't say who they are yet.

Gary - I will be getting everything to you first thing. Thanks!

Pictures and stories coming soon!

I am off to bed. Jetlag is winning today.

Great to see that you're home safe and sound Alex. I'll look forward to reading all about your trip (in between the dramatically increased load of students here.. . I guess no one else was available! ;))

I can't wait for my next trip out to the UK. I must plan that and save my pounds for the jet fare.

cheers!

Lightbulb Pictures part 1

Trio - (L to R) Leigh, myself and John
What can I say? These guys make incredible instruments. Aside
from that, they keep me in stitches and treated me like a queen.
I cannot express my gratitude enough to Leigh and John for believing in
me. They are the nucleus of this wonderful Eclipse family and I am delighted to be a part of it all.

The Crew of First Class Brass
Carl and Peter complete the craftsman of the Eclipse team. Again, I cannot express my gratitude enough. They were an absolute pleasure to be with and they created three incredible instruments for me. Infinite thanks to all of you. I look forward to seeing you again. Cheers mates!

Henry Lowther - Eclipse endorsee
I cannot say enough good about his man. I have made a wonderful friend
and colleague. He plays flugel beautifully and has done it all. He is a living legend. He escorted me to the show Mr. Langley was performing in and was kind of enough to show me the sites. Aside from being a beautiful trumpeter, he has the mind of an encyclopedia. It is an absolute pleasure sharing conversation with him as well as throwing back a pint and talking trumpet. I feel so grateful having this new friend in my life.

Noel Langley - Eclipse endorsee.
Meeting Noel was truly a highlight of my visit. His help in chosing my instruments was invaluable. (Thank you for taking the time Noel.) I enjoyed hearing him play in the testing room as well as "The Producers". He was extremely kind to arrange box seat where I had a great view of the pit. I enjoyed looking at the orchestra as much as the show....which was hilarious BTW. His playing was top-shelf and I enjoyed every note. Oh yeah, he's a really wonderful man and a nice guy. I feel honored to be on board with him as an Eclipse endorsee. Thank you for everything Noel.
