Thanks, Erik

I stand corrected. I guess I was actually referring to the sound and style I was hearing on that website. From the recordings I've heard, Peter is a very different player form Mr. Civeletti. Anyway, I hope I can have a visit with Peter, then, as I'll be in Amsterdam for about three days in August for our tour. Do you think he'll will be around or is the Concertgebouw on vacation? We'll be there from the 21 to the 24, I believe.

Anybody else you guys know of in the orchestral world that use this method?

ML

Well, thanks anyway. Will you be in town? I hit the submit button too quickly and forgot I meant to ask you as well! Sorry. I would enjoy getting together with you and other trumpet friends while I'm there. I think we're playing the 5th of Mahler.

Rimshot is an unknown quantity at this point
Concertgebouw will be in Chicago tomorrow, Sunday the 12th for a 3pm concert--there's always the phone, or a German-power car enabled sprint southeastward....

Manny, I'm not buying that anyone sounds better than you on ANY trumpet, nice try. Class as usual though.............

Let me guess: you're playing in Orchestra Hall, Minneapolis!
