![]() | Re: Pictures of your trumpet miles71, for your horn's finish how about satin or brushed with bright finish inside the bell and on the top and bottom valve caps. This looks really nice.

![]() ![]() | Re: Pictures of your trumpet Your right ! I think he delights in teasing me with his beautiful 184. You know, in all my years, I have seen countless beautiful horns of all types . But for some reason, Dales 184 justs kills me. Here are some lousy pics of my 10B. Click on the thumbs for larger images. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Does anyone have a suggestion to bring out the shine on my 10B. It is original gold plate, and is probably getting very thin by now. So I'll need something gentle yet effective.

Here's another of my favorites - my 1960 Conn 6B Victor. I like the tri-color look on a lacquered horn. This one's all original and in great condition (plays well, too). ![]()

![]() | Re: Pictures of your trumpet Very nice! Now I know why you appreciate engraving - you have a horn with some beautiful work on it. As for polishing gold plate, you might try some liquid silver polish and a soft cloth. I wouldn't use anything stronger.
