Re: Pictures of your trumpet

In fact, I'd like anyone out there who has a California Bb trumpet of any model to let me know anything they know about it. I would like to know as much as I can about it. Thanks!

ex.- warranty, resistance (or lack thereof), looks, breakability (in marching season on trailers or something), and anything else you can think of :)

Re: Pictures of your trumpet

My Bb will be a year old in April. so I guess it is about 8 months old. It is presently unfinished, or raw. It was built that way so I could play test it and make any changes I wanted without messing up the finish. I plan on sending it out in feb for Gold plating. I do have a pretty high acid level in my sweat, so the horn got ugly fast.

As far as Stage 1 reviews I think they are some of the best trumpets being made. I cannot say enough good things about how I am treated by Felix I recommend the NYTC highly. If you do a search of NYTC or Stage 1 you will find many reviews. If you have some specific question send me a PM of email me through my website below.

I'll post pics when the horn is plated to for you guys.

If the raw brass wouldn't pit, I would almost leave that horn that way... it looks great, very good for turning heads in a section. Or, just gold plate all the spots you touch, or similar.

Hey I'm glad you noticed! That is a McIntosh SL-1. Probably one of the most tight, accurate sounding sub I have heard. That thing retailed $2000 new. It weighs like 100 pounds.
